BACK IN THE DAY |6/24/03| Gang Starr released their sixth and final album, The Ownerz, on EMI Records.
Man, I hate to say it, but I was quite disappointed by this album. I mean, coming off of Moment of Truth, almost anything would come up short. It just seemed like there was so much filler. I ended up trading it in for other stuff at Music Trader, but found myself missing the packaging (which was dope) and a couple of the tracks.
I ended up copping “Put Up or Shut Up” and “Riot Akt” on iTunes later.
