ok, ok, so I understand the storytelling technique, “big guy is angry and wants to look dominant, so he interrupts a match with people lower on the card than him and destroys them,” but given the fact that, really, the entire tag team division of the WWE is some form of non-white ethnicity, was anyone else really, really fucking weirded out by Big Shows attack on two black guys and two hispanic dudes, all the while looking like a skinhead, wearing camo shorts and a black t shirt?
Mary and I honestly were afraid he was about to do a nazi salute when he was finished. I was completely creeped out by this segment.
Y’know, I totally didn’t see it that way until you mentioned it! Interesting. To be honest, this was the first episode of Smackdown I’ve watched in weeks, and I fast-forwarded this bit. The program’s been boring me and I felt the PVR space should go to something else.
