The link leads to Ware’s latest gallery show at the Adam Baumgold Gallery. The pictures are pretty large so you can see a bit of his process, which thrills me to no end. Ware is one of the few illustrators and comic folks out there that gives me chills; chills to the point that I have a hard time reading his work. So good, yet so…bleak. I think the faux New Yorker cover above drives that point home, don’t you think?
By the way, Shit Comix is a total misnomer. That blog brings you snippets of the good stuff from big and small names throughout the comic world.
