I’ve got a copy of this somewhere, and I should find it. That right there is a who’s who of New York graf legends and OGs. I think it was in a copy of Mass Appeal (R.I.P.).
As noted above, the quote is from Dante Ross’ Twitter page. Dante is a terrific storyteller, and has tons of true tales from his days as an A & R man (among other music business-related positions), and he’s always worth a listen. No joke: if our child is a boy, he’ll be named Dante.
